We do not offer payments through installments (Affirm, Klarna, Shop Pay Installments) in-store.
When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into 4 equal, biweekly installment payments. Since we're committed to speed, we start processing your order right away, which means we can't always make changes like address updates, color swaps, or cancellations. We're so happy to hear that! Although we don't offer gift receipts online at this time, orders that contain gift notes are shipped with a packing slip that doesn't include pricing.

Shipping and Delivery
Our standard processing time is 1-3 business days. We'll send an email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
For U.S. orders, your order will typically arrive 1-6 business days after being shipped, depending on your location.
For orders shipped to Australia, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, the U.K. and select EU countries, please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to arrive. This can vary based on delays with customs clearance, inspections and other external shipping factors.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to a P.O. Box address. If a P.O. Box is entered at checkout, your order will be cancelled after 24 hours if we do not receive an updated physical address.

We understand it's frustrating when you haven't received your order and the mail carrier says it's been delivered. Typically, we kindly request our customers to allow the shipping carrier a window of 2 business days after an order is marked as delivered for it to arrive. It's not uncommon for there to be a delay in this process.

Yes, we honor warranties for international orders!
Most of our products come with either a 1, 2, or 5-year limited warranty. Please see the Product Guarantee page for more info. Warranty claims must be filed via email. We are not able to start the warranty process in-store, through text message, or direct messages via CALPAK's social media accounts.

Returns
Online Purchases
For U.S. orders, we accept returns of unused items within 30 days from the date of delivery. If you purchased Return Coverage, there will be no additional return fees. If you did not purchase Return Coverage, a flat fee of $12.95 for bags/accessories and $24.95 for luggage will be deducted from your refund.
Returned items cannot show any signs of use, wear, tear, marks, scratches, alterations, or any kind of damage. Products must have their original packaging, shipping carton, and uncut hang tags. We reserve the right to reject any returned items with personal items left inside the product, as it indicates signs of use. We suggest you test the compatibility of your item prior to use, to ensure you are still eligible for a return, should the item not meet your travel needs.

You can start the return process by visiting our Returns Portal.
Once your return has been submitted, just follow these easy steps:
1. Print your return shipping label. No printer? Just scan the QR code at an eligible USPS or FedEx location and they'll print one for you.
2. Pack up your items.
3. Place your packing slip and items in the original or new packaging, and seal it. Mark out any old addresses and barcodes.
4. Bring your return to a nearby drop-off location.

Pay $1.48 for Return Coverage during checkout and you can return eligible* items for no additional return fees. Products
We restock as soon as we receive new inventory. Please sign up for the waitlist on the product page to be notified of any restocks!
For non-luggage items, we recommend the following:
1. General Cleaning:
- Use a clean white towel gently moistened with warm water.
- Wipe the stain in circular motions until it fades.
- Lay your bag flat and allow it to air dry.
- For tougher stains, add a small amount of gentle laundry detergent made for hand-washing to the warm water.
2. Extra tough stains:
- Apply a very small amount of anti-grease soap directly to the stain.
- Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Use a clean white towel moistened with warm water to wipe the stain in circular motions until the soap or detergent is completely removed.
- Lay your bag flat and allow it to air dry.
3. Additional Tips:
- Lighter colors don’t camouflage stains as well as darker colors, so use extra care with them.
- Consider alcohol, acetone, and oil as enemy substances for your bag.
- When cleaning your bag, If your towel is too wet, it can leave water stains on the fabric.
- For some materials, spot cleaning will significantly improve greasy marks, but in some cases, it may not completely remove them.
- The best way to avoid permanent stains is to clean them as soon as they occur.

At this time, we do not offer embossing or personalization on any of our products.
Most of CALPAK's luggage is water-resistant, but not water proof.
Proposition 65 (Prop 65), the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a California law that requires the state to keep a list of chemicals that the State of California has identified may cause cancer or reproductive toxicity. There are now over 950 chemicals on the Prop 65 hazardous substances list. The full list can be found on the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) website.
As part of Prop 65, businesses selling products to people in California must provide “clear and reasonable warnings” before knowingly exposing people to any chemical on the list, unless the expected level of exposure would pose no significant cancer risk.
The law defines “no significant risk” as a level of exposure that would cause no more than 1 extra case of cancer in 100,000 people over a 70-year lifetime. So a compound can be unlabeled if a person exposed to the substance at the expected level for 70 years is estimated to have a 1 in 100,000 chance or less of getting cancer due to that exposure. The law also has similar strict cutoff levels for birth defects and reproductive harm.
There are many commonly used items that fall under Prop 65's mandates. Additionally, real estate properties are subject to California’s Prop 65 mandates due to the possibility of hazardous chemicals being present in the nearby environment. Some of the product categories sold in the State of California, and California locations that require California Prop 65 warning labels include:
products made with leather, vinyl, foam, synthetic and non-woven material, beauty products, glassware, ceramics, batteries, retail stores, etc.
All of CALPAK parts and fabrics are made from durable and safe materials, in full compliance with federal safety regulations. However, as there are many chemicals used throughout the manufacturing process, it is possible that our products may contain trace amounts of one or more of the 950+ chemicals on the California Proposition 65 warning list.
Prop 65 warning labels are primarily used in the sale of products to California residents. We attach one to our products no matter where they go to inform the consumer, even though by law we are not required to do so if the consumer lives outside of California. Proposition 65 is more of a “right to know” law than a pure product safety law. Voters who approved Proposition 65 in 1986 intended that Californians should have a right to know when they may be exposed to chemicals that cause cancer or reproductive harm. There are trace amounts of these chemicals in more products than you may know, but only in California it is a requirement to tell the consumer. Airline Damage
Our products are tested, tried and true. They are designed to withstand normal use, including regular handling by airlines. If the bag is damaged during transit, the airline is required to handle the damage claim. File one with them immediately. Each airline has different requirements - submitting a claim before you leave the premises, within a 24 hour window, etc—so be sure to make a claim right away.

Luggage Lock Instructions
Send a photo of your lock to [email protected]. We’ll get back to you within 2 business days. If it’s urgent, we recommend trying all the combinations between 0-0-0 and 9-9-9. We promise it takes less time than you would think (we happen to know from experience).
TSA-approved combination locks may have keyholes, but they are for internal TSA use-only. However, if your product came with a set of keys, contact us at [email protected] with a photo of your lock so we can assist you.
CALPAK TSA FRAME LOCK INSTRUCTIONS
1. Set dials to 0-0-0 and gently press side buttons on lock to open luggage.
2. Locate the reset button on the interior of the lock.
3. Slide reset button on the interior of the lock from ""off"" to ""set"".
4. Set your desired combination. (Save your code in a safe place! Your lock cannot be opened or reset without your code.)
5. Slide the reset button on the interior of the lock from ""set"" to ""off"".
6. Close luggage and gently push down the lock.
7. Check lock by changing the dials. Side buttons should not push down.
8. Enter your secret combination. Gently press side buttons to open luggage.
9. Repeat for other lock.

Locks approved by the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) feature a red diamond logo.
In the US, the TSA may open checked luggage as part of their security screening process. With a TSA-approved lock, the staff can open it with a key and lock your luggage after screening. If your luggage has a lock that is not approved by the TSA, it may be broken in the process.

2. Insert the key and rotate counter-clockwise to lock.
3. Check your lock by sliding the key slide up. Zipper pullers should not release.

1. Insert zipper pullers into lock from the bottom to the top. Bottom zipper pullers are for the main compartment and the top zipper pullers are for the front pocket.

3. Check your lock by sliding the key slide up and down. Zipper pullers should not release.
4. Insert the key and rotate counter-clockwise to unlock.
5. Slide the key slide upwards and downwards to unlock. Zipper pullers should release.

Absolutely! Be sure to log into your VIT account before checking out. At any point during the checkout process, you can click the “show order summary” dropdown at the top of the page. From there, you will see the sliding scale for you to add your VIT points to your order. For further assistance, please reach out to [email protected].

Unfortunately, VIT members cannot accrue or redeem VIT points on orders placed through other platforms. In order to earn and use your points, you will want to checkout directly through our website.

Warranty
Most of our products come with either 1, 2, or 5-year limited warranty. Please see the Product Guarantee page for more info. If you are unsure if your CALPAK product comes with a warranty, please reach out to us for further assistance.
While we strive to match limited edition, discontinued, or out-of-stock items, we cannot always guarantee exact replacements. Rest assured, any replacement luggage will be of equal value to your original purchase. Replacement decisions are made at our discretion, and we reserve the right to decline warranty claims.
In partnership with Extend, we also have extended warranty plans available for post-purchase for products purchased on calpaktravel.com (valid only for domestic purchases).

We encourage you to take advantage of our warranty registration process which will help make future warranty claims easier to process. Though not mandatory, we do require proof of purchase (we all know it's difficult to hold on to receipts for so long) to process a warranty claim to make life easier for future you!

We accept order confirmation emails and photos of receipts as proof of purchase. Proof of purchase must include date of purchase in order to be approved.

Extended Warranty (Extend)
Yes! We can send you a unique link to purchase Extend within 30 days. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information.
We made it easy for you, so no warranty registration is required, even with Extend. Extend will reach out to you directly via email with information regarding your contract, including the contract ID, coverage dates, contact information, and a link to the full terms and conditions.
Accidents happen, but don’t worry! Your bag is protected in case of accidental rips, tears and snags, broken zippers, broken wheels and handles, delamination, and seam separation for the term of your Extend protection plan. If your Extend plan’s term is longer than the manufacturer’s warranty, this plan also covers defects in workmanship and/or materials, including normal wear and tear. This plan does not cover theft or damage caused by abuse or misuse, so please keep that in mind!
Accident protection plans work a little differently than standard extended warranties. Your accident protection through Extend begins as soon as your purchase Extend and lasts for the full term of the plan you selected. The coverage from defects in workmanship and/or materials, including normal wear and tear, starts after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.
Here's an example: Let's say that on January 1, 2021 you purchased a product with a one-year manufacturer's warranty along with a two-year accident protection plan from Extend. Extend would cover you for accidental damage from day one through January 1, 2023 (two total years). Your manufacturer's warranty would cover your product for manufacturing defects through January 1, 2022 (the first year), and then your Extend protection plan would protect you from defects in workmanship and/or materials after your manufacturer warranty expires through January 1, 2023 (the second year).

The CALPAK 1 or 2-year Limited Warranty protects your product against defects in materials and workmanship. Extend Protection Plan with Accident Coverage plan provides additional coverage for everyday accidents that may occur. Extend also provides coverage for product defects, once the Limited Warranty expires.
Spare Parts
Yes! We offer replacement parts to easily fix your CALPAK item at home. All you'll need is a screwdriver, the part we send you, and a couple minutes of your time.
Start the process by going into our Help Center here. Please make sure to attach photos of your damaged item to request a spare part. Spare parts are available upon request and review, and are pending availability.
